LATA is actively seeking talented, experienced Project Managers with a focus on US Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Environmental Management oversight for employment for our Mid-America Region. This position supports DOE work locations at Portsmouth, OH, Paducah, KY and Oak Ridge, TN.
Primary responsibilities and key characteristics of the role also include, but are not limited to:
• Overseeing a portfolio of large-scale projects totaling $500+M annually
• Actively responsible for the planning, safe execution, and delivery of a portfolio of RCM projects at As Sold or better financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Providing support to Project Managers (PM) by:
• Fully understanding applicable contracts
• Leading Project Reviews
• Conducting Site Visits
• Engaging Project Team at critical milestones
• Change Management and dispute resolution
• Engaging Client and Project Stakeholders
This opportunity is best suited for a person with a natural drive, ability to communicate with various levels of stakeholders, both internally and externally, someone who enjoys speaking with clients and building relationships, a team player who understands environmental consulting, in particular remediation construction management, interest in sales, and has a proven track record in growing accounts by selling professional services.
You will work in a supportive environment under the direction of the US DOE Program Manager with various responsibilities, including the following:
• Analyzes and manages complex and difficult project challenges
• Conceives, plans, and conducts consultation in areas of considerable scope and complexity
• Directs and leads strategy to address very complex technical projects
• Plans and develops segments of projects with unique or controversial problems that require development of novel concepts and approaches
• Applies senior level of expertise, knowledge, and judgement
• Senior technical lead for technically complex and unique projects
• Manages an array of highly complex projects in multiple locations
